Groupon Alert! Here’s the link to the Pajama Jeans deal on Groupon!!
Since I first mentioned Pajama Jeans back on January 3, I have been getting a lot of questions (and teasing!). From Shawn and Lisa talking about them on the Affiliate Thing podcast to the Sunshine Rewards members asking for a review to my Bunco friends all wanting me to wear them last night, everyone has been asking me what I think about them. The sad part is that it is February 17 and they just arrived!
I was starting to get really angry with the Pajama Jeans and I hadn’t even tried them on yet. I know they said that it would take 4-6 weeks for them to arrive, but I had friends who had already gotten theirs. Apparently my size was on backorder. When they finally shipped on February 5, I was so excited. The bad news was that they shipped them via pony or something because shipping took almost 2 weeks.
When I saw the mail lady putting a big yellow package into the mailbox today, I immediately ran out and grabbed it. When I saw that it was, indeed, my Pajama Jeans, I ripped them open to try them on. My first impression was that they definitely looked like denim but felt thinner and stretchier. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that they feel like my fluffy flannel pajamas though.
Without getting too personal, I had to try on a few different pair of underwear with them before I found a pair that worked. I didn’t want you to be able to see lines, and the Pajama Jeans sit low enough that I had to go with low ride undies so you wouldn’t see them when I bend over.
The picture above is the best I could do with my webcam and the timer on Daily Booth. Not the best quality but you can see that they really do look like jeans. I already had on a long-sleeved gray shirt today, so that is what I am wearing with them. I’m going to wear them to lunch with my friends and see if any of them notice. I’ll let you know what they say.
All in all, do I like the Pajama Jeans? Yeah, I do. They are comfy enough that I could do a light workout in them but also look better than any of my stretchy black workout pants. The sizing is perfect, and I went by what they said on the site. Were they pricey? At almost $50 including shipping and handling, they are definitely more than what I would usually spend for pants to wear around the house or run errands in. We’ll see how they wash up.

My husband gave me some Pajama Jeans for Christmas and I love them! They’re comfortable, they’re soft, they look like jeans, fit like jeans with a tight look but don’t feel tight. I’m thinking of buying myself a second pair.

I was looking for these for ages, couldn’t wait to try them on. Got a pair, cost almost $50, and I am grossly grossly disappointed. They LOOK comfortable, but one size is WAY too tight and the next larger size fits funny. I suppose I could either gain or lose weight to make one of them fit, lol. NOT WORTH IT unless you are fortunate to fit into a pair off the shelf.

I see on the web page for Pajama Jeans they have the skinny leg jeans. I’m returning the small size and trying to order the xsmall hoping they will fit better with the skinny leg. Do you know anything about this style?

I bought my jeans at Wal-Mart, got them home and love, love love them!!! So much so that I went back and got another pair.
Of course, having lost 35lbs in the past year I loved getting size small. No one knows they aren’t regular jeans and until I tell them. They wash up very well and color didn’t fade. I’d love them with a skinny leg to put in boots. They might be a joke to some people but once you get them they’re no joke. Warm, soft, comfortable, what more could you ask for, throw on a cute jacket, shoes and bling, you’re good to go! Merry Christmas Everyone!!!! Ask Santa for some jeans!!

You can find these are most CVS’s. a lot cheaper.

What I like about jeans is that if you don’t have the best shaped butt, jeans will shape your butt for you. Does Pajama jeans have this trait? Or are they like jeggings?
Emily says
So, the look of them really look like real jeans? did your friends notice that day you went to lunch with them?
thanks!

If you are in a hurry to get PJ Jeans, I found them at Bed Bath and Beyond, $39.99. You can also use the coupons we always get in the mail to get 20% off more ! Not a bad deal.

I am so ticked off with these people right now. I was online yesterday and was going to buy these for my mom more or less as a joke bday gift. However, after entering in my shipping and credit card details I was prompted about regular or expedited shipping. Seeing that her bday is next week I knew they wouldn’t arrive in time, so I never confimed the order for processing. This morning I was checking my online bank acct and saw a withdraw for 47.90 from Pajamjeans! OMG how could they procress this order without me ever confirming it. I called customer service, who told me the order was processed and out for shipping. Apparently the order will need to be refused and shipped back to them, and then I can start the credit process. So, I had to call my mom and explain the situation to her. Well i’m out $47.90 until this can be resolved. What a crock or SH**!
Tricia says
That’s definitely not right if you didn’t actually make it through the confirmation process. 🙁

What are your thoughts about pajama jeans now that you’ve had them for a while? Did you have problems with everything they touch turning blue? Did they wash ok? Must know!
Tricia says
I actually did not have ANYTHING turn blue! I had seen old blog posts and a Youtube video review mention that before so I was really careful the first few times that I washed them. I am thinking that they have changed the dye since they first came out because they have not bled on me at all. I have NOT put them in the dryer. I’ve laid them flat to dry each time. Other than that, I still love them after 4 months!

I just bought a pair at Bed Bath & Beyond and while they are very comfy they rubbed blue onto my white tennis shoes. They also stretch out to much after wearing them for an hour or so. I would have to wash them after each wearing which is not practical at all. I will be returning mine tomorrow.

I bought a pair of jeans at Boscov’s about 2 months ago and couldn’t wait to wear them. The first time I wore them my hands and socks turned blue. I washed them in cold water and tried them again, they still had blue coming off them. The third was no different, my brand new car (with beige seats turned blue) I am very upset, paying almost $40.00 for a pair of jeans that I will no longer wear. I should have saved my box so I could return them.
Virge says
Do you make them in capri’s????
Tricia says
I have not seen them in capris anywhere yet.

I was laughing at the thought of you trying to get in position and beat the Daily Booth timer, because I’ve done that.
If you’re going to do a video of the treadmill desk, please be sure to have the pajama jeans in play – there would be so many worlds colliding.
Tricia says
I will do that!! I’ll see if I can get one of my friends to come over after lunch and film the video of me demonstrating the treadmill desk while wearing the Pajama Jeans. If that doesn’t get me a shout out on your podcast, I don’t know what will.
