I’m pretty vocal about what I like and do not like about affiliate marketing. To me, affiliate managers can absolutely make or break programs depending upon how they manage them. I’ve gotten to know some pretty fabulous affiliate managers and OPMs (Outsourced Program Managers), but I have also unfortunately worked with some so terrible that I ended up dropping the programs.
Affiliate Summit West in Vegas is my (OUR) chance to ask some affiliate managers and OPMs the questions that we all want answered. The panelists agreed to answer anything that I ask and in a public forum that won’t allow them to hide the truth. Although they won’t be speaking on behalf of all affiliate managers, it will be a great chance to get into their minds a little bit to find out why they work the way that they do and how we can better use that to our advantage.
Join us for Grill the Affiliate Manager: Questions You Want Answered. Panelists include:
- Greg Hoffman, Greg Hoffman Consulting
- Mike Nunez, AffiliateManager.com
- Rebecca Pollard, Pet360
Is this session right for you?
If you are an affiliate, you will get answers to your questions about program approvals, commission increases, special promotions, etc.
If you are a merchant, you will learn how your program should and should NOT be run to be more successful. Should you work with coupon sites or toolbars?
If you are an affiliate manager or OPM, you will find out the kinds of things that bother affiliates and how your competition deals with those things. What kind of communication methods work best? Is it okay for you to also be an affiliate?
In short, there is something in it for everyone.
But this panel isn’t just about MY questions. In addition to pulling some information from the Affiliate Summit AffStat reports, we want YOUR questions as well. Leave a comment here, send me a Tweet, email me, whatever! I will try to include as much as I can. In addition, we will have some Open Q&A time at the end of the panel for you to ask your questions live.
